Networking Tip: How to Quickly Share with a LinkedIn Group!

Do you belong to Groups on LinkedIn and have information to share about an event, tip or news that the group will value?  Sharing with Groups is a great way to network by sharing relevant content with members.  I recently shared my blog on with entrepreneur groups about choosing business partnerships.

What does sharing online do to deepen your relationships within a group?  Simply put, when you share relevant information, it attracts members to your website and with time and consistency, it establishes your expertise.  Sharing opens doors for connecting with you and widens your network. Sharing Concept

Instead of logging on to each Group to share an update, there is a more simple way by using the Share Bookmarklet tool.

The LinkedIn share bookmarklet tool allows you to instantly share a webpage with your LinkedIn connections, public, groups, Twitter, and individuals.  It’s very easy to install…just drag and drop!  Click this link to install right away and please share this blog that you’re reading right now with others in your network!

Once you have Share Bookmarklet on your browser and you want to attract Group members to your blog, take these steps:

1)  Open your blog or a page you want to share with a Group.

2)  Click on Share Bookmarklet from your browser toolbar.  A LinkedIn dialog box will open that looks like this:

3)  Along with an update, share with Groups by typing  Group names and LinkedIn helps by filling in as you type.   You’ll see your blog appear as shown in this example.

4)  Click SHARE and post to your Groups!

What an easy and great way to provide valuable content to your network, establish credibility and attract new people to your website to grow your list and your sales!
