It’s much more than developing a quality and sizable network. If you “work” this valuable tool, you can attract clients from your target audience to SEEK you out and FIND you. You can also SEARCH for your prospects using LinkedIn filters to locate your perfect audience and fill your sales funnel.

Here are the steps for getting started with your LEAD GENERATION PROGRAM…

Begin with your PROFILE…

STEP 1-CREATE A CLIENT ATTRACTING PROFILE: Does your prospect audience know how to find you and what key words would they use to find what you do? Your first challenge is ask 5 people that know what you do and ask them what words they would GOOGLE to find you. You may be surprised at the new words to use in your LinkedIn profile! Here’s a step by step guide on how to begin building your profile:

STEP 2- SEARCH TO FIND “YOUR PEOPLE”: Use advanced search techniques for creating your prospect list.

What are the qualities of your best audience and what are the key words you would use to describe what they do? As an example, my selected key words for Lead Generation are Sales Manager OR VP of Sales. When you perform an advanced LinkedIn search, your filters will also include the level of connection (1st, 2nd, 3rd, group), type of industry, title, company size, job function, location to name a few. target audience

This is where you find the advanced search feature and choose the filters that compose your target audience list: UntitledOnce you have your advanced search results, you can save the URL and name your list of prospects, then set up LinkedIn to email you weekly with additions to your SAVED SEARCH.

STEP 3- YOUR LINKEDIN SALES FUNNEL: Who has visited your profile? This is the best prospecting tool! Receive more invites to connect, learn how to recognize your best prospects and engage them to convert leads to clients.

On the NAV bar at the top, go to PROFILE and View Who Has Visited Your Profile to find prospects that appear in your “inbox” and reach out to your best prospects. Ask for a connection and begin your online engagement moving forward to scheduling a sales call.
